Join our team as Unit Risk & Compliance Specialist at IKEA Romania.
Your knowledge, skills and experience include:
- University degree, with very good achievement;
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in compliance environment;
- Legal and governance competence within Romania as well as relevant areas of operations;
- Good understanding of relevant laws in area of responsibility and experience of practice whereof;
- Preferable to have, or acquire solid understanding of legal systems in Romania;
- Capable of reviewing, drafting and negotiating a broad spectrum of agreements;
- Basic knowledge and application of legislation and government policy in business and commerce environment;
- Good communication skills;
- Fluent Romanian and English language, both written and verbally.
What you'll be doing day to day
Your tasks will include:
- Promote risk management in the unit, informing and sharing expertise in order to develop risk- aware decision taking in relation to unit goals and unit business plan.
- Support with expertise on Ingka Rules and Local (country and regional) legislation to secure a safe environment for customers and co-workers
- Provide expertise on and plan for the proper trainings needed and facilitate for co-workers and external partners to meet IKEA's/Ingka's risk appetite.
- Support a Risk & Compliance culture by developing leadership and conscious approach in identifying and implementing systems to detect, analyze and reduce business loss, financial impact, prevent incidents and accidents.
- Ensure the reporting of relevant figures for eg. co-workers, customer and visitors incidents to establish progress and areas for improvement.
- Responsible for implementation of methods and rules regarding to the internal store compliance rules (ASR).
- Support methodology, existing work methods and guidelines, be responsible for updating all materials, guidebooks, work methods and presentation guidelines and to inform organizational unit about each update.
- Provides coaching and support to store managers regarding ASR rules, also is responsible for I Monitor system maintenance.
- Responsible for weekly, monthly, three month and annual reporting on compliance rules.
- Perform quality checks in regards with I Monitor continuous monitor reports and to ensure ASR compliance.
- Research and evaluate different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.
- Support on compliance matters, relevant stakeholders in day to day business and operations in order to reduce exposure to risk and optimize opportunities.
- Compliance support in local and regional projects.
- Responsible to review and secure the compliance of IKEA ROMANIA in relevant areas like commercial, corporate, governance.
