We are currently looking for 3 assistants to HVAC and Air Conditioning Installer/technician to join our busy Auckland based team. The ideal candidate is not required to befully qualified but havingsome understanding and experience of the industry is preferred.
You will be working with qualified HVAC technicians and engineers to help them to install, maintain and repair HVAC systems. As an Assistant Technician you will be helping in in cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems.
You will be helping the qualified team in installation and checking to end-of-life low performing systems by maintenance and repairs.
You will be involved as assistant or helping hand in all below tasks which are done by qualified technicians so you should be assisting then below as you will be part of the team but not fully responsible as sole in charge for below duties
Installing, maintaining and repairing Heatpump and air conditioning systems and equipment.
Identifying maintenance risks on equipment.
Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services.
Performing emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
Keeping daily logs and records of all maintenance functions.
Ensuring compliance with appliance standards and with Occupational Health and Safety Act.
Complying with service standards, work instructions and customers requirements.
This is a full time and permanent role with 30 hours per week guaranteed. The candidate applying for this job should have a valid NZ work permit or NZ resident or citizen.
